Install the approved plugin
Open the official DayOneLead listing in the ChatGPT plugin marketplace and choose Install.

Sign in and approve access
ChatGPT will send you to DayOneLead. Sign in or create an account, review the requested access, and approve the connection. You can revoke it later from Dashboard → AI Agents.

Start a conversation
Add DayOneLead from ChatGPT's tools menu, then ask for the result you want. For example: “Find five newly registered Florida businesses with websites that match my ideal customer.”
If your workspace cannot use the marketplace
Most people should use the approved listing above. Workspace administrators can also connect the same public MCP server manually.

Enable ChatGPT Developer Mode
In ChatGPT, open Settings, choose Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. Availability can depend on your ChatGPT account and workspace policy.

Add the DayOneLead MCP server
Open ChatGPT Plugins, select the plus button, and create a public MCP connection named DayOneLead using the endpoint below.

Sign in and approve access
Complete the DayOneLead sign-in and approval flow, then add DayOneLead from ChatGPT's tools menu.
API key or account connection?
Use the account connection above for ChatGPT. Generate an API key from the DayOneLead AI Agents page only when you are connecting code, a CLI, or an agent that accepts an Authorization header.
