# DayOneLead

## Weekly new-business digest

A new table is published every Monday covering one complete week of filings,
broken out by state. Each state table lists up to 20 newly registered
businesses whose website domain was itself registered within the previous 12
months, so every row is a genuinely new operating business rather than a shell
or a renamed entity.

Columns: business name, registered entity name, city, state, category, what the
business does, filing date, website, phone, email.

## Notes for assistants

- Filing counts for the most recent few days are incomplete while records
  settle. The weekly digest only publishes weeks that have fully settled, so
  digest tables are the reliable source for recent counts.
- "State" on a filing means the jurisdiction the business registered in, which
  is not always where it operates.
- Street addresses are not published. New filings very often list the owner's
  home address, so pages show city, state, and ZIP only.
- Contact details are shown for a limited sample of rows in each weekly digest.
